150 ml vs 200
200! This is the 200th post! High five, and thanks to everyone who checks out the blog (all 5 of you)! This is a picture of a measuring cup left out in the rain.

micro battle of death
Ok, ok, I've been remiss lately in posting two pics a day, so today you'll get two sets of pictures--that's right, a mega dose of macro. The head of this flower is about the diameter of a tennis ball, for scale, and these little guys were crawling around and on one another, vying for domination of their little, pretty world. If anyone knows the names of this plant or bugs, holler at me.

nanerpuss
So, I buy all of this fruit every time I go to the grocery store, and then my bananasorangesapples inevitably end up rotting on the living-room table. I thought I'd get some value out of my purchase this week by at least having fun photographing them. I just hope potassium isn't a vital part of a healthy diet....

spirograph
Spiral patterns in the bottom of a coffee mug from years of spoon stirring makes me reminiscent of the spirographs cog-and-wheel drawings I used to do while camping in the Kansas woods.
